Elijah Adam Benson

Elijah Adam Benson, age 17, of Burnet, Texas passed away on August 19, 2014. He was born on August 18, 1997, in Clear Lake City, Texas. Elijah was a senior at Burnet High School. He was a member of the Bulldog band and varsity BETC (Theater Company). He enjoyed playing the guitar and writing music. Elijah was very active with his pursuit of the Lord and for his friends to know the Lord.
He is survived by his mother and papa Benae and Mike Hickman of Burnet, Texas, father John David. Benson of Troup, Texas, sister Sarah Benson of Burnet, Texas, girlfriend Chasity Reyes of Burnet, Texas, grandparents Patricia and Frank Veenstra of Burnet, Texas, grandmother Mary Elaine Benson of Dickinson, Texas, grandparents James and Sue Hickman of Comanche, Texas, aunt and uncle Rick and Bobbi Benson, uncle Troy Long, aunt and uncle Amanda and Harold Higginbotham; numerous other aunts and uncles and cousins.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at the Burnet High School Auditorium officiated by Kyle Byrd, Doug Lindley, Rodney McGee, C.J. Weisinger, Brandon Byrd, and music provided by PS 150.
