Elinor Larson Obituary
She was the beloved wife of 66 years to Warren H.; loving mother of Paul W. Larson of San Antonio, Texas, Janet E. Travers of Dorchester, Nancy L. Aborn of Bourne, and the late Natalie E. Larson; sister of the late Hope Taylor; and grandmother of 11.
Born on Sept. 18, 1916, Elinor was the daughter of the late Erik and Ethel (Herbazek) Anderson.
A graduate of Milton High School, she later received a degree from Wheaton College and her master's degree from Brown University.
Elinor worked as a school teacher in Weymouth, Bourne and New Jersey. She moved to Plymouth in the 1950s, where she was a member of the Plymouth Garden Club. She also spent some time as a realtor in Bourne and Plymouth.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. in the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, with a visiting hour from 8 to 9 a.m. Burial is in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Memorial donations may be made to the Beacon Hospice, 8 Samoset St., Plymouth, MA 02360, or the Reminiscence Fund at Sunrise Assistant Living, 98 Warren Ave., Plymouth, MA 02360.
