Elisa Boyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elisa on June 7, 2015. Elisa was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many. Elisa shaped many lives as a school teacher in Montreal where she taught for 20 years. Elisa leaves behind her beloved husband Yves; step-son, Eric and his wife Marie-Josee; three grandchildren, Alexandra, Julia and Nicholas; brothers, Richard and his wife Annie-Claude and Louis and his wife Angela; sister, Anna; and nieces, Stephanie, Annisa and Elina; and nephew, Christopher, and her mother Maria to who she was so devoted. She loved her tennis and her golf and loved to travel and entertain. She had also taken an interest in Salvador Dali, and devoted her time to the Dali Museum in Tampa, Florida and often visited Spain’s Dali museums. We will all miss her terribly and will remember her for all her kindness and devotion to us all. We invite you to celebrate her life at Blount & Curry Carrollwood Funeral Home on Wednesday June 17 from 6 to 10 pm or at Mount Royal Commemorative Services in Montreal on Monday June 29. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to “The Dali Museum” for the benefit of the Junior Docent Summer Camp program, in memory of Elisa Boyer, docent.Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa. Another service will be held at Mount Royal Commemorative Services in Montreal on Monday, June 29, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to “The Dali Museum” for the benefit of the Junior Docent Summer Camp Program in memory of Elisa.

Was a good friend to me. We enjoyed many lunches out and in each other's homes. Many talks We had yoga in common. I don't know what happened, but you are missed.

Words can't descrebe the shock and disbelief when I heard this sad news about my dear friend Elisa. This hole in my heart will not be going away for a long long time.

It was heartbreaking to hear the tragic news of Elisa's untimely passing. I met Elisa in Montreal where she was good friends with my sister Rose who also had an untimely passing recently. We met again in Toronto where we developed a very close and warm friendship, and I continue to carry many fond memories of our times together. Hosting dinners and parties was a specialty of hers which brought her and her many friends much joy. I will miss you dearly and fight back tears when I think about you. My condolences to Yves, Richard, Anna, Louis, Mrs. Burgos and all of her family and friends.

She was a beautiful lady inside and out and I am happy that I got to spend some quality time this past winter, lunching with her in Old Montreal.

Elisa was my sister in heart and soul. Our relationship goes back 50 years. We talked every day wherever we were in the world. She was a loving caring person with a beautiful innocence surrounding her. She made so many people happy. Her untimely death left a huge whole in my life and my family's. I am still so shocked & so very saddened by the untimely passing of my friend, Elisa . She was such a very special person. Elisa had a huge circle of close friends and I was lucky to have her come into in my life. She had so much compassion & helped me through some very tough times. Even though I live in Toronto we spoke weekly. Her radiant smile, her pearls & hairbands were her signature trademark, she was such a class act!

Elisa and I connected immediately when we became neighbors. Her beauty and intelligence made a huge impression on me, as did her warmth and gentleness. While she comforted me during a distressed time in my life, she introduced me to so many new avenues. I truly believe I was able to give her something in return. I feel my two dogs and love for animals helped kick start Elisa's journey to find Griffey. Prior to picking up Griffey, we had several conversations and lessons. I knew this dog would be the love of her life, just look at the pictures. Elisa was an amazing person both inside and out! I will miss her and our talks more than ever. My thoughts and prayers go out to Yves, her family and to all who knew her. May you find comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Elisa and I have been friends for 11 years. We met at our golf club in Toronto, spoke often when she moved to Tampa, and visited each other while I wintered in Naples every year. We confided in each other about our lives, thoughts, and feelings. She was a special friend and a rare person; kind, giving, supportive, fun, a class act, and a real "lady", who just wanted to be happy. I spoke to her on June 1st, made plans to speak the next week, and then this unbelievable tragedy and loss. I am devastated and will miss her terribly. I was totally shocked and saddened about the tragic death of one of the most beautiful woman that I known!!!!
