Elisa DiCapua, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida, on December 27, 2024. She was 104 years old.

On August 2, 1941 she married Angelo DiCapua, who predeceased her on March 18, 1997. Together they raised 6 children.

Elisa found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in knitting creations for her loved ones, playing bingo and cards with friends, visiting casinos where she enjoyed the excitement of playing the slots, and cheering for and betting on her favorite sports teams. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children - Maria Scanlan of Raleigh, North Carolina; Catherine Sutera of West Palm Beach, Florida; Gregory DiCapua of Brooklyn, New York; and Lorraine Martorello of West Palm Beach, Florida. Elisa also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who will carry forward her memory with love.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Elisa was preceded in death by her sons Michael and Frank; granddaughter Jennifer; grandson John; sisters Josephine Fiorenza & Maria Taldone; and brother Patrick Buonadonna.

Elisa will be deeply and forever missed by all who knew her and loved her.
