Elisabeth Felt Krueger, a native of Buffalo, NY, passed away at Arbor Acres Retirement Community in Winston-Salem, NC on November 23, 2024 at the age of 98. Elisabeth was born on October 25, 1926 to the late Clara and Edmund Felt. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Richard Theodore Krueger, and by her sister, Judith Roop.

Elisabeth and Richard had a very warm and loving relationship with their family: their daughter Jane K. Montgomery (R. Curtiss) of Buffalo, NY; their son David R. Krueger (Kristin) of Winston-Salem, NC; their son Thomas E. Krueger of Winston-Salem, NC; their grandchildren Sarah Montgomery Cash (Derek), Anne Montgomery Schalk (Greg), Laura Krueger (Jay Gant), and Scott Krueger (Michelle); and their great grandchildren Maxwell Schalk, Ivy Schalk, James Cash, Julia Cash, Elisabeth Gant, Patrick Krueger, and their newest great grandchild, Henry Krueger, who was born after Elisabeth's death.

Elisabeth pursued her education at Bennett High School in Buffalo and then studied at the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of Tri Delta sorority. After her marriage to Richard, she actively participated in the Junior League in Buffalo and the League of Women Voters and received many awards for her leadership.

Elisabeth had a fulfilling life as a homemaker and a loving wife and mother to her family. She and Richard, an executive in the chemical industry, raised their family in Buffalo, NY, and Luling, LA, and later moved to Lansing, MI. They retired to Asheville, NC, and enjoyed classical music, bridge, courses at UNC Asheville's College for Seniors, and their dog Muffy. Elisabeth served as Chaplain for the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Asheville. They attended Grace Episcopal Church. She and Richard traveled to Europe and China with friends at the College for Seniors, and they often traveled to New Orleans, Buffalo, Atlanta, and Gulf Shores to spend time with family.

A memorial service for Elisabeth will be held in the chapel of Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 1:30 pm.
