As a young and inexperienced librarian at Long Lake and Westonka, I really valued Libby's advise and guidance. She was so much for than that for me, a lot of fun too.

We had great conversations about birds among other things and I will miss her wit and wisdom.

To the family

I just read in the HCL Newsletter that my friend, Libby, had passed away. She indeed was an elegant and lovely lady. Please accept my sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Steve, Bobbi and Jenny,

I just learned of your mothers' passing. Coincidently in the same manner I learned of your fathers - late and at Steve and Arla's buckthorn burning. Had I known, be sure that I would have paid my respects at the funeral. The last time I saw your mom was at Steve and Arla's a few years ago. I sure miss our parents. What great memories I have of those days growing up in Long Lake. Your parents were special folk. My prayers are with you.

What a grand, elegant lady! My prayers are with you during this difficult time. I have so many memories of your Mom from not only my school years and running around with Bobbie, but also her very touching letter following my father's passing. It was truly an honor to have had her touch my life.
