Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Abrahamson

Elizabeth Ann ""Betty'' Abrahamson, 70, of Duluth, passed away Aug. 2, 2008 in Duluth surrounded by family. She was born in Superior, Wis., on Jan. 22, 1938 to Walter and Viola Boutin. Elizabeth was a Denfeld High School graduate. On May 4, 1957 she married Dale Abrahamson in Duluth, and raised four children. Elizabeth was a homemaker and was active in the Eastern Star. She retired from food service at East High School. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents and loving companion, Tony her cocker spaniel. She is survived by her husband, Dale; children, Scott (Dana) Abrahamson, Todd (Beth) Abrahamson, Beth (Earl) Hamilton and Kay ""Sam'' (Richard) Eng; grandchildren, Aaron, Ryan, Justin, Kaija, Ashley, and Aaron and Erica Allen. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Nikcevich and the SMDC staff as well as the staff at Lakeshore and Gentiva Home Care. MEMORIAL SERVICE:10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 in Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth. Visitation will be one hour before service.
