Dear Arlene:

It has been many years since we met, when your mom was a volunteer at Passavant Hospital. I will always remember the tender and devoted care she gave your grandmother and her pride in both you and your brother. She had many friends at the hospital who so enjoyed her company. I will always have such fond memories of our days there and will always remember the lovely, classy lady your mother was. My prayers are with all of you.

We are sadden to read of the loss of your mother. Betty was a well liked patron of the Grant Bar as you well know and we always enjoyed having her there here. She was one "Classy Lady " who knew how to make the little person feel good being in her company. Thanks for sharing her with us.

Arlene and Rich,
I was saddened to hear during church about the passing of your mom. I knew her when I worked at LaBelle Salon and then did her hair while she lived at Hampton Fields. She was such a faithful women, and was so proud of her family. She always had stories to tell me when I was doing her hair. My chidren got to know her at Hampton Fields as well, they were servers in the dining room. Betty liked my daughter Lauren and would give her gifts she got from the make-up counter. My sympathy to your family.

I was sorry to read of your mother's death. I only knew her from seeing her at Highland Country Club, as our dear friend, Helen Achtzehn, would take us to dinner. I remember her as always being very sweet and looking very elegant. Once I heard her mention that she hadn't been able to attend something at the Teutonia and I told her I would have taken her. She remarked, "you would have done that for me?". I gave her my phone number but she never called for a ride. It was a honor to have known her.
