Elizabeth Anne Armstrong

Liz Armstrong, of Modesto, CA, passed away on February 29, 2024, surrounded by her children. Liz was born on September 10, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA. After just one date, Liz married her husband Mike, in Walnut Creek, CA in 1974. Mike and Liz remained married until Mike's passing in 2017. Liz spent a majority of her career making wine for Franzia in Ripon and lived a majority of her adult life in Escalon, CA. After retiring, Liz found great joy in scrapbooking, crafting with paper and making bracelets. Liz was constantly gifting loved ones with these personalized treasures. Liz lost her life due to battling ovarian cancer since being diagnosed in 2017, shortly after Mike's death. Liz was preceded in death by her husband Mike, brother Ed, stepson Brian, and great grandson Bellamy. Liz is survived by her brother David (Michelle), her sons David (Heather), Denton and her daughter Vanessa. Liz is also survived by three grandchildren and three stepchildren. Liz's positivity, humor, kindness and vibrant personality will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 4940 Claus Road in Modesto on Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m.
