Libby and I met at writing classes at the Oshawa Seniors Centre and we attended classes and theatre events in the six or seven years we have known each other. Her stories were always entertaining both written and through our conversations. She gave her opinion frankly and freely and we always had lots of laughs. I will treasure the times that we shared and the great memories that I have of her. Very best wishes to all of her friends and family.

Libbys visits to the Millen household in Ottawa were always exciting and fun! Aunt Libby was a bit of a celebrity with her beauty, glamour, warmth and humour. I never saw my dad more at ease than when in her presence. Thats how I remember Aunt Libby as a salve for the soul; especially my dads. Much love to all her children and grandchildren, Jan xxxxxxxxxxx

First let me say that I am devastated to hear that my Libby has died. I was hoping to see her in a few days and had pulled out a new scone recipe to make. We were going to have a coffee together. Perhaps my sense of time was not what it should be. I have known Libby since 1979 when we were both taking classes at Trent as mature students. Although we didn't see each other much since I remarried and moved to Cobourg, we always maintained our friendship in some form or other. She made me laugh ! Period. I will write more about what I remember when I am less upset. I am glad she stayed at my cottage in Ireland last June and that my brother Patrick met her.
I am so sorry for your loss. My husband Maurice really enjoyed her company. He joins me in our sincere condolences to all her Family.
