Peacefully, after a short illness, on Tuesday, 30th September 2008, Bess, aged 88, of Kirkintilloch and East Kilbride, beloved wife of John, mother of Gordon, Douglas and David and grandmother to Andrew, Jennifer, Tess and Emilie. Sadly missed by family, neighbours and friends. Funeral service at Daldowie Crematorium, Broomhouse on Monday, 6th October, at 10.15am, to which all are respectfully invited. Grateful thanks to doctors and staff at Alison Lea and Hairmyres Hospital. No flowers please, but please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
