I just found out of Elizabeth's passing today. My deepest condolences to you, Peter, your daughter and all my Doherty cousins. Elizabeth's Dad and my Dad(Ford) were brothers. I sincerely regret not keeping in touch. My thoughts are with all of you.

Peter, I just learned of Elizabeth's passing and your loss through the RAIC Bulletin. As classmates at Carleton and colleagues in the early years in Calgary, you were together. Elizabeth was so bright, talented with high standards and great ideas. I hope for you and your daughter a safe passage through your grief.

Peter,

I was very sorry to learn of Elizabeth's passing. Please accept my condolences as you pass through this most difficult time. I didn't get to work with Elizabeth during our tenure at the NCC, but the testimonials speak for themselves as to how she affected those around her. May her memory continue to remain a vital part of your life.

Peter & Meghan ,my sincere sympathies and prayers. I enjoyed working with Elizabeth. I enjoyed the drive and enthusiasm she had on getting things done no matter what obstacles were in the way. Elizabeth was a true professional as architect and project manager. She was instrumental in my career in engineering and property management while working at the National Capital Commission.
It was great knowing you,

My sincere condolences to the family and friends, and her co-workers at PWGSC. I had the chance also to work with Elizabeth; she was one of the first to be hired as higher management at PWGSC in the early 1990's. J'ai aussi apprecie ses efforts a apporter le bilinguiste au travail a Ottawa. Elle fut un support moral et une aide professionnelle dans le domaine de la gestion de projets.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Liz for about 20 years and always trusted her knowledge and insight as an architect and project manager. She could always be counted on to help someone in need or just for good conversation. She is greatly missed.

My condolences to you, Peter, at this difficult time. Elizabeth was my second cousin. Her grandfather, Herbert Doherty, and my grandmother, Mary Agnes Doherty were siblings.
Would you happen to be related to Arnold McCourt, who began his career as a high school teacher, but later became a librarian in Ottawa?
