Elizabeth Hassell Obituary
Elizabeth along with her husband owned and operated Westside Laundry and Recycling in Mt. Vernon. Elizabeth also enjoyed baking and made several of the pies for Hawg N Sauce restaurant.
She is survived by son, Richard (Jeanne) Hassell of Mt. Vernon; Daughter Deborah (Mike) Smith of Ft. Mitchell, AL; Son-in-Law, Francis Angermeier, seven grandchildren, Angel (Kelly) Craig , Jonathan (Megan) Lacer, Holly (Eric) Newman, Eric (Anya) Angermeier, Lauren (Nick) Sprunk, Jennifer (Jonathan) Hassell-Goodson, Keith Hassell and fiance Rachel, John Smith, and Harold Smith; several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son, Phillip; daughter, Terri Angermeier; brother, Virgil Somers; and sisters, Alice Searcy, Frances Duncan.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks to Ben Fuller, for his kind, loving and compassionate care.
Graveside services will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Bellefontaine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley's Children's Hospital. Butch and Jeanne so sorry to read of your loss I was never privileged to meet your mother, Butch, but her photo shows a beautiful lady! She must have been just as beautiful on the inside, after reading some of the condolences. I know you both will miss her. I pray for the comfort and peace that only our loving Lord can give, along with your sweet memories❤
