Elizabeth Heine Obituary

Published by North County Times on Nov. 20, 2011.
Elizabeth (Libby) Ann Heine FALLBROOK -- Elizabeth (Libby) Ann Heine joined her best friend and husband of 58 years, Robert Henry Heine, in Heaven on October 25th, 2011. She was born on October 21st, 1928 in Winslow, Arizona, the only child of Hilliard Otis and Edith Mae Griggs. Elizabeth and her husband Robert were married on July 21, 1949, in Huntington Park, California. Together they moved to Fallbrook, California in 1957. There she was a devoted Marine Corps wife and mother of three. In the 1960s, she owned and operated Libby's Beauty Salon from her home so that she could be close to her children. She was a warm and caring person, always thinking of others. Her family fondly remembers her love of flowers and her being the most wonderful homemaker; and how wonderful it was to always come home to a house so full of love and memories. Libby loved long drives and appreciated the beauty of each and every day. The beach and High Sierras were her favorite places for family vacations. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Libby is survived by her three children including: son, Karl Heine and partner, Sherrie McGuinness of West Chester, Pa., daughters, Karen Saindon of Temecula, Calif., and Kristine Jorgensen and husband, Myles of Kingman, Ariz. In addition to her children, she is survived by her three adoring grandchildren, Noel Saindon and wife, Rachel of Temecula, Ryan Saindon of Temecula, and Brandy Shumard of Grand Forks, N.D. Libby was also blessed to have eight great- grandchildren, Cedric, Savanna, Gage, Alexandra, Drew, Austin, Judiah, and Parker. The family of Elizabeth Heine would like to sincerely thank The Regency Fallbrook, where she was loved and so taken care of for the last four years. Special thanks to Seasons Hospice, who were Angels on Earth. A private family celebration of life will be held in Oceanside, Calif. at a later date. Sign the Guest Book online obits.nctimes.com

What a sweet lady she was! When I visited Regency few months ago, I saw Libby sitting at the dinner table. She remembered me from 4 years ago, when I was working at Regency. I will always treasure her and I am glad I got to see her once more. Rest in peace, LIbby! I will miss you!

My Grandmother was a wonderful, loving lady who will be tenderly missed from all who had the honor of knowing her. We always wanted her happiness to come before ours, and now she is happy once again with Grandpa. We love and miss you much Grammy!
