HEROUX _ Elizabeth (Betty) 1933 - 2007 Betty Heroux passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the young age of 73 years. Betty worked as an X-Ray Technician at the Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert, SK until her retirement in 1998. Before her illness, she was an active reader, loved to travel and enjoyed spending time at the lake. She was a great cook and we miss her apple pies and butter tarts as well as our winter mittens and scarves as Betty loved to knit. She was honest, trustworthy, dependable, and generous. Betty is fondly remembered for her patience and compassionate nature. She loved to laugh and lived life to its fullest. Betty enjoyed watching her grandchildren in a variety of activities, whether it be hockey or dancing. She adored her grandchildren. Betty leaves to mourn, three daughters and a son and their spouses, Susan and Kerry Goulard, Laurie and Wayne Wasylyshyn, all of Calgary, Lynne and Terry Sawchuk, David and Wendy Heroux, all of Prince Albert; and eleven grandchildren, Ryan, Kristina, Tallis, and Chad Goulard, Kallie and Kyle Sawchuk, Taylor, Madison and Jaden Wasylyshyn, and Nathan and Joel Heroux. She is also survived by two brothers and five sisters, Delmer Perrault, Phyllis (Albert) Fortin of Temiscaming, QC, Marcel (Patsy) Perrault of Kipawa, QC, Joan McNally, Iris (Gilles) Ducharme, Dorothy Fleming, and Marie (Richard) Brunette, all of North Bay, ON; in-laws, Carol Perrault, Leonide Washburn, Gisele Rossignol, all of Temiscaming, QC, Raymond (Claire) Heroux of North Bay, ON, Larry (Nancy) Heroux of Whitby, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. It was with great sadness to hear of the death of one our dearest friends..a friendship that goes back to the 1960's in Prince Albert. So many memoires flood our minds of Betty and Herc. They are together again after these many years apart. Betty was a humerous and fun loving lady with a willing hand and a ready smile. We will miss her dearly. With much love and compassion to Susan, Lynn, David and Laurie and their families of whom Betty was so very proud.
