Elizabeth KISH Obituary
July 11, 1917 – December 17, 2013
Betty passed away peacefully at the age of 96. Predeceased by her son Garry; 9 siblings. Survived by her sister Evelyn and brother Ed; children: Louis (Janet), Rose (Jim), Doreen; grandchildren: Wes (Ellen), Martin, Daryl (Linda), Pat (Bob), Julie (John) and Kathy (Steve); great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was a volunteer at Mission Hospital Auxiliary and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion #2 in New Westminster, for 15 years. Elizabeth enjoyed doing things for others and spending time with family. A Memorial Service for Elizabeth will be held on Friday, January 31 at 2:00pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 – 72 Avenue, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory to the BC Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Betty's passing. My heart felt condolences to you and your family. Although I only met her a few years ago, it didn't take long to realize what an extraordinary lady she was and how much I admired her spirit. I do certainly miss our chats in the office.
