Elizabeth Klaverkamp Obituary

Klaverkamp Elizabeth S. Klaverkamp passed away Sunday morning, July 11, 2004, in her sleep. She was 71. Liz was a free spirit and loved life. Born in Edina, MN, she married Bob in 1957 and lived in Tokyo and Hong Kong for the next 37 years before returning to Minnesota in 1994. They lived on Sylvan Lake and loved the Brainerd lakes area. Liz had dogs (and cats) all her life. She is survived by her husband, Bob; son, Geoff and daughter-in-law Daeng; grandson, Jason; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Joan Klaverkamp; nephews and niece, Jon, Joel, Greg and Lisa; and pet dog, Tiger. Funeral services were held at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Charles Nauen, St. Paul, MN, officiating. Burial was at the Nisswa Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to HART - Heartland Animal Rescue Team Humane Society, 1401 Danielson Road N., Brainerd, MN 56401.

I lived in Tokyo from 1966-71 and remember Liz from those days. She was a natural beauty inside and out. Her passing is a sad loss.
