Condolences to the Turner-Ladd Family. My Mother, Ola Bumpers, worked for Mrs. Ladd's Father, Mr. Noel Turner. Mr. John Walton Turner's children, Walt, Monroe and Justa, were practically raised by my Mother during her employ with Mr. Turner. May God comfort your family and may you all remember the fondness of Ms. Polly Ladd! God Bless each of you!

What a "Steel Magnolia"! Polly was a strong, courageous southern lady. She always made me feel welcome and a part of her beloved family. She loved her church and influenced my becoming an Episcopalian. I love and will greatly miss her. - John Derkits
