Elizabeth Ann Barnes, 50, passed away May 14, 2003, due to a sudden illness. She was born on January 30, 1953, in Coalgate, OK, and grew up in Pryor where she graduated from high school in 1971. She graduated from Southwestern State in 1974 with a degree in English, and received her masters +30 in Early Childhood Development from UCO. She taught at Moore High School 1980-1986 and Steed Elementary. Ann was presently teaching for MWC schools and had been since 1987. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and daughter. Her father Wm. Noel Thomason preceded Ann in death. She was survived by her husband Jack Lancaster; daughter Gina Barnes; mother Bonnie Thomason; sister Janet and husband Kirk Harbert; brother Bill Thomason and Teresa Brown; nephews Matt, Kevin, and Chase; 3 stepsons; and 6 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 224523 Dallas, TX 75222. Services will be held at Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary South Colonial Chapel, 6934 S. Western on Monday May 19, 2003 at 2:00 PM. VONDEL L. SMITH & SON MORTUARY 6934 S. Western 634-1439
