Elizabeth "Libby" Sellars Obituary
She was a resident of Waukesha for over 50 years and for the past 10 years, she lived at Eastcastle Place, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After graduating from Purdue University in 1947, she worked in the Personnel Department of L.S. Ayres Department Store in Indianapolis, Indiana for six years. From 1977 - 1992, Libby worked for the Women's Development Center at Waukesha County Technical College, first as an Employment Specialist and later as the Center Manager. She was highly active state-wide, regionally, and nationally in working on behalf of displaced homemakers.
Libby was an amazing, accomplished woman of many talents. She had a quick wit and a ready smile. She was kind and thoughtful and believed in contributing to the success of any group that she was a part of. She was fully committed and dedicated to her family, and they were truly
blessed to have such a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a woman of substance, integrity, and determination who lived a wonderful, long life. She is loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on April 12, 2025, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 100 East Broadway, Waukesha, WI 53186 beginning at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.

John and family, we are so sorry of your loss.
Your mom was a kind and caring person. God gave her many years to be a blessing to others.
We have fond memories of cheering for the OR basketball team and visiting with your Mom & Dad. They were truly special people!

John, Deb,Tom and Liz and families. Sorry to hear of your Mom’ passing from earthly life but comforted to know she has rejoined Bob and is rejoicing with him in heaven. It appears clear she was quite a lady and mom and an inspiration to many.
