I don't know what to say, other than we all miss Mom terribly. I'm grateful she had 90 years, almost all good ones, yet somehow it still seems too short for someone like her.

We've all heard jokes about mother-in-laws, but let me tell you that I am very grateful to have known Trudy (my mother-in-law) and feel blessed to have been fortunate enough to call her "Mom." I miss you greatly and hope that the good Lord allows me to see you again in Heaven.

Our grandmother was the greatest woman that ever lived. She was kind, loving, selfless and always kept things positive. She wanted nothing but the best for each and everyone of us. I miss her dearly. I miss her words of wisdom and stories she used to tell. I miss her smile and laughter. I am so lucky to have such sweet memories. Grandma Lockwood I miss you like crazy. We are going shopping as soon as I get to heaven!

I cannot even believe that it has been a year since Grandma was called home. We all miss her so much. The love and caring that she gave to us continues to ripple from generation to generation. In this she lives on indefinitely and I look forward to that day when we are together again.

I will miss Grams. She always was kind. I remember one time, she let us paint her nails, and we spilled purple polish all over the floor. But she was still smiling, because that is the kind of great grandma she was. I love you, Grams

Elizabeth, one wise woman, bragged on her family, proud of them and knew what each one was doing, had great advice. A true inspiration to many, especially at Curves. Members would say if Elizabeth can do so can I. Looking forward to our next visit.

I have childhood memories of both Aunt Trudy and Uncle Russ and then time passed and we got to visit again with Aunt Trudy in Florida along with my parents. We enjoyed our visit with her and Betty and it is hard to lose a parent. Praise the Lord we will meet again one day in Heaven.

It has been a year now since she left us. The only peace is knowing that she is with both Christ, Dad, and all of her family that left before her. So many times I go to call her, forgetting she is no longer at the other end of the line. She touched so many, many lives. She had a way of listening, caring, and helping whomever needed her, making them feel like they were her only concern. As a mom, she was a giver-never a taker. She was a great role model for me and our family our whole lives. What a wonderful blessing she has been! Love, Rose

A couple of days ago, I realized that it had been one year to the day that Grams passed. I think about her often, but am not really sure how my mind recognized the 1 year anniversary. I suppose it's because she meant so much to me. She was like my 3rd parent! If I were to try to say all the nice things about her that I have in my heart, I would be typing for a long long time. So, let me just say that she was one of the best people I have ever known, I always enjoyed being with her, and I love her more than words can say. This Earth was certainly diminished the day she left it...

"Trudy" was an extraordinary lady and I was very honored to be able to call her mom. I will really miss her as she was not only my mother, but also my best friend. Her family meant everything to her. I love you, Mom, and miss you. Say hi to Dad for us.

Aunt Trudy I will remember until MY dieing day's. She wasn't one to gossip and she always had ton's of material near sewing machine. She could whip up a dress for each of my two daughter's, without a pattern. She practiced the Golden Rule. Her kindness I'll always remember. Maybe she'll sew the robe's in Heaven. THANKS! Will miss you Diana Hagerl (Mt. Pleasant,MI)

I knew Mrs. Lockwood through my 47-year friendship with her youngest daughter. During my own very troubled teen years, Mrs. Lockwood once told me that if I ever needed someone to talk to, I could call her. It was a brief remark that meant the world to me and it has kept her in my heart for decades. She was a very special lady and I will miss not hearing about her, but I will never forget her.

Reading the other messages it sounds like Aunt Trudy knew she was going to glory to be with the Lord. That fact makes it somewhat easier to accept her going home. Please accept our condolences in your loss.

I was pleased to have known Mrs. Lockwood through her son Chris. She extended me many kindnesses during my visits dating back to her family's time in Michigan. May God grant her peace as she is reunited with her husband Russell, and my sympathies to her family in their time of sorrow.

I will miss Trudy. She was a beautiful woman. I had the opportunity to get to know her because her daughter Betty is one of my dear friends. Betty, Trudy and I would have lunch together and I enjoyed our time together so much. I couldn't believe Trudy was still going to Curves 3 times a week until last year. What a spunky lady. I can just hear her saying, when she arrived, "Heaven, I'm here." I love you Trudy! Christine Jacobson
