Elizabeth McDonald, 82, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Saturday at Golden LivingCenters-West Shore, Camp Hill.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

Betty was the widow of John "Pinky" McDonald.

Surviving are children, Curtis Eby, Enola, Duane Eby and wife, Sherry, Lewisberry, Jill Eby, Brooksville, Fla., Lori Bondori, Madison, Wis., and Trudy Shoemaker, Chester; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Morea Road, Frackville. Richardson Funeral Home, 29 South Enola Drive, Enola, is in charge of arrangements.

I knew Betty & Pinky in the late 60's & 70's. Betty had great work ethics. Those of us who remember her will agree she was 1 of a kind!
