My 14 year old son (and Dreher Freshman) had Mrs Nance at Timmerman. She was a great teacher and we were both so sad on hearing of the loss.

I'll never forget the moments we shared when you taught me Algebra. You were a very sweet and passionate woman. You will truly be missed but never forgotten!!

Mr Nance, It is with much sorrow and sadness in my heart that I send you and your family my deepest sympathy in the loss of your wife, Beth. I count you among the best teachers I ever had and will never forget your humor in the classroom and your love of your students. You were certainly a blessing in my life and I often recall with fondness and laughter the way you made learning science so much fun. I too share something in common with your wife, Beth. I am a 1994 graduate of Erskine College and know I did so well there thanks to teachers like you. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a very long time. Blessings and peace to you my dear friend and teacher; you will never be forgotten, nor will the countless ways you and your wife have made this world a better place, one child at a time.

Sincerely, Blair Young Lord, Dreher High School Class of 1990

Mrs. Nance was a spectacular teacher. I am so lucky to have had her for three years. I will never forget everything she taught me. She taught us to never give up and to be strong, care about others, laugh always, and she made math fun. Mrs. Nance will never be forgotten, and her legacy as an educator will live forever through her students.

I was so sad to here that Mrs. Nance had passed. She taught both my boys at Timmerman. She loved all her students and they loved her. She will be missed here on earth, but will forever have a place in our hearts and a home in heaven.

Prayers and thoughts to all the family of Mrs. Nance. My daughter attended Timmerman School for 10 years and had Mrs. Nance as a teacher and just loved her to pieces. We had come back to visit over the years and would always try to catch up with her as well. She will truly be missed, but good memories she made with all the many, many students she taught. God Bless all of you during this sad time. JoAnn, Bruce, Brittney White, Elgin, SC

I am deeply sadden by the loss of Mrs. Nance. She taught both my children at Timmerman and always, always took time out to speak to me whenever she saw me! My heart breaks for you, her family but I know God has a special place for her and she will forever be the guardian angel of all of those kids that loved her her so much!
