(nee Marynowich)
On June 12, 2014, Elizabeth "Liz" Power of Edmonton passed away at the age of 59 years.
Liz is survived by her loving husband, Ken; six brothers and two sisters, David (Josie), Victor, Eddie, Robert, Casey, Betty, Agnes (Brian) and Joe. Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Anna Marynowich; brother, Harvey and sister, Mabel.
Funeral Service on Friday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 4814 – 50 Street, Vegreville. Interment in Riverside Cemetery in Vegreville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Cancer Institute, Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.

I was so shocked and sad to learn of the passing of Liz. I always looked forward to seeing her at work and to the conversations we had. Liz was so bright, positive and a wonderful person all around. I will always remember that Sunday I arrived at 9 in the morning only to be told that I was supposed to work in the evening. I was so shocked and was so frustrated that I started crying. Liz helped me by talking to the TL and they fixed my schedule. From then on, when she sees me or hear my voice on the phone she would gently ask me how I'm doing. Liz is a gentle soul. She will be fondly missed.
