MR and Mrs. Prostic, Seth and family,

I was so deeply hurt to hear the news. i will always remember the spirit that Lizzie brought to the neighborhood... and the light that sparled in her eyes.

i have a memory of her that i will never forget. she once was dancing in your backyard ...and would complete a dance routine...and run behind the bushes.. she then would tell me and the others too yell "ENCORE!!".. and then she would run back out and dance again!! After a few times ..i admitted to her that i did not know what "encore" meant.. She looked at me ..and said "It is a term used in theatre silly! When an audience likes the performance they yell ""ENCORE!!!"" in hopes too see the performer again!!!"

From that day on i knew what that word meant!! Everytime i saw a rock group come back on stage ..or witnessed a "curtain call" at a ball game...i always thought of Lizzy.

Now i will cherish these moments.

"ENCORES" are special to me..

To the Prostic family...i hope that all of you find strength and love.

May the sparkle and life of Elizabeth Prostic shine bright.

Dear Dr. and Mrs. Prostic,

It has been a long time since I last saw Lizzie at Beth Shalom, but I do remember her energy and enthusiasm. It was her brother, Seth, I knew better, but I do remember babysitting a few times with Margo Wolf. It was with a heavy heart that I read of her passing last week in The Jewish Chronicle. As I looked into the faces of my three beautiful children, my heart broke for her husband and young daughter. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Merry and Ed,

I have such vivid memories of Lizzie. She had a strong spirt that left an impression on everyone who met her. I remember listening, singing, and dancing to Merry Poppins with her in her bedroom; I remember her make me mac and cheese when she used to babysit me; I remember red ribbons holding back her beautiful black curly hair; and I remember seeing her as a stunning adult at temple sitting in a pew a few rows ahead of me. Lee and I are so sorry for your loss and extend our deepest sympathies your way.

To the Prostic, Lundblad, and Copaken Families,

I am shocked and saddened to hear about Liz. I remember going to football games, when she and I were both kids. We would both watch Seth play wide receiver and my big sister cheerlead. A few years later she became a cheerleader, and I became...a weird mascot.

Reading about her life, I am amazed but not surprised about all that she accomplished. You should be very proud of the woman, lawyer, mother, and wife that she became.

Her friends from the Class of '93 will miss her. Liz and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Next time I'm venture past Stratford Road, she'll be on my mind.

I knew Lizzie through Bloomers at Penn. Through her charm and talent, Lizzie engaged a group of crazy and wild women and miraculously taught them how to tap dance. My heart-felt condolences go out to Lizzie's family.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to Lizzie's family. Lizzie was someone I admired during my time in Bloomers at Penn. As a senior member of the group, Lizzie embodied talent, grace and beauty and I admired her and looked up to her during my freshman year when she was our tap instructor and fellow performer. I am truly horrified to hear of her illness and death and I only hope that Lizzie's family can take some comfort in knowing how many people Lizzie touched with her many gifts. You are all in my prayers

My deepest condolences to Lizzie's entire family. She and I were in Bloomers together at Penn. From the moment we met when she was a freshman, I knew she was an extraordinary person: creative, warm, funny and generous. She will be missed by everyone.

Dear Dr. Prostic and Family,

My heart is so heavy and my cheeks are wet as I contemplate your irreplaceable loss. The faces of so many courageous breast cancer patients I had the priviledge of working with at Prime Health all those years ago come flooding back to me. I remember your lovely children, and how proud you were of each of them. And though I had lost touch with you, I can imagine how thrilled you've been at each and every achievement that Lizzie has so obviously made through the years. Please know that my most sincere thoughts and prayers are with you, and all your family.

I'm so saddned by the devasting news. Although I didn't know Elizabeth as an adult, I remember her running around our house as a little girl....she must have been amazing because Merry and Ed are so wonderful. I will light a candle in her honor, and hope in this tragedy - when the world feels so empty - that we try to remember she is, and will always be here, in her children, in your memories and in spirit.

My deepest sympathies to the Prostic Family and extended family and friends. I taught Lizzie P. in First Grade for several wonderful months, many years ago.. The class was a very special one at Sunset Hill , before the merger.
