I am glad I know Lisa even though it was only for a few years. She was a funny and bright person who made me laugh. My sincere condolences to Maryellen and her family.
When I would call Lisa she would answer with the line "Hello from the other side" from an Adele song. I hope the other side brings her peace and comfort. You will be missed Lisa.

Lisa, you were the girl everyone wanted to be at UMass, Boston and at every club we went to. You were smart, funny and so beautiful.
Being with you in the white Camaro and going to the Mad Hatter, we knew you were special. You worked so hard and knew your path very young.
Everyone loved you and was immediately attracted to you and was pulled into your orbit. The heavens are a little bit brighter tonight because of your light.
Wish we kept in better touch.

She was the one that the young radio women looked to for inspiration, although we were often too star struck to tell her that, so we admired from afar. She had guts and a sassy edge to her on air persona that was courageous and fabulous, and oh so rare.
Like Sunny, she was kindness and light in a tough business. I'll never forget their sweet encouragement.
My deepest respect for her then, now and always.

I worked with Lisa at Kiss 108 back in the 80s and 90s. She was one of the bright lights at the station, and she was a true friend over the years. I will miss her quick wit and laughter, and I will treasure the notes and letters she sent to me.
Lisa - Now you can party with Sunny, Rocky, Vinnie and Dale for all eternity. You will be missed, but I know I will see you in electric dreams...

Deepest sympathy to all of Lisa's family and loved ones. I was a classmate of Lisa's, the class of 1975 at Melrose High. We were in the same home room through high school and became friends. I always did cherish Lisa's friendship and thinking of Lisa my first thought is of just how nice and like able she was. Lisa my dear old friend, I will treasure my memories of you.

Lisa Tedesco better known as Lisa Lipps was a gift from God, who created a storm, as an on-air talent, at Kiss108 when she first started there.
Many of her friends and fans adored Lisa.
Sunny, Rusty, Damion and I were among the ones who loved Lisa, who held her on a pedestal and appreciated her.
Through the years Lisa was committed to provide tender loving care for her mother, her father, and her uncle. She cared for them tirelessly and unconditionally. The Lisa we knew had a gentle spirit, was witty, fun loving, generous and most of all Lisa had a big heart.
The welcome mat is out for Lisa now.
We pray that Sunny, her radio family and her heavenly family are greeting her with open arms.
Lisa you are an angel from heaven. We will always love you & miss you too. The circle of love will be unbroken when we all get to heaven.
Love, Juanita ❤❤❤❤❤

Dear MaryEllen and Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. I am so very sad to hear this news.
Lisa was a beautiful person. I will always remember her generous spirit above all else. It even surpassed her wit -- which was razor sharp and fast as lightning. She was smart, talented, funny -- and a kind and gentle soul, beautiful inside and out. The world is a little less bright today with her gone.
LT, thanks for the memories and your friendship.

December 23, 2016
I met Lisa at the University of Mass in Boston while we were both students there. We hit it off as we both happened to work for McDonald's but in different towns. What started off as shop talk turned into a fun, whirlwind of a friendship as we learned about something else we had in common - music and nightlife in the Boston discos. Meanwhile, she was becoming a Boston icon at that time at Kiss 108 and I had the pleasure of being her clubbing buddy when she'd call the house at 10:00 to invite me to go with her to places like Houlihans or California, the club to see Evelyn Champaign King. She even came to my college grad party. As she became more famous, we lost touch but I remember fondly the fun I had when I was with her. She was a very intellectually funny and talented girl. I still brag to my kids how I knew Lisa Lipps personally. Rest in Peace Lisa. I am sure you are making the angels laugh.

I didn't know Lisa personally but she and Mattie got me through my mornings heading to nursing school.

She was "play it forward" before it was popular.
Keep them smiling in heaven Lisa.

Remembering: By James H Cavanaugh
Tears flow and join with the rain
The pain of separation never departs
Days of sorrow turn to years of memories
Happiness is glimpsed through the pouring rain
Memories of life's past joys trickle through
Clouds part and the blue skies return for awhile
Remembering that no one has really departed
But has passed over into God's realm
And the future holds only a grand reunion
With those you share your love
My condolences to friends, fans and family. JHC

Drove By East Mountain Ave., in Melrose this week.....Looked up the hill thinking of Lisa ...(as.. I always do when I pass by her / her parents old home).
I worked with Lisa at McDonalds from 1977 to 1982? We were both shift managers.
Sometimes, I covered for her, so she could do the Gen. Hospital Review! We went to manager training together, and, we never, ever stopped laughing...
I still laugh thinking about so many crazy times with her"!
I loved her 68" Camero, and, she made... awesome "8 track DISCO tapes" for my 68 Toyota. She was amazing....a hard worker, and, very smart.
It was so much fun...
working with Lisa, clubbing with Lisa, and, being friends with Lisa!
She was "the real deal"
It's so sad that she's passed, but, I hope she's in a better place.
I'm blessed to have had her in my life...and, I'm sure... many. many others feel the same way! Love you Lisa! Will never forget you!
