I pass the Bryn Mawr house daily and know the void is never filled until you all hug Liz in Heaven. My daughter used to play with Valerie, when coincidentally, I lost my only sibling. The parental ache never fades, I feel or witness it in our family business when I'm with my folks. It just aches a little more when I pass the Bryn Mawr house. Respectfully.

Dear Turgeon's,
I remember Liz like it was no other. she was a close close friend of mine, and also a teamate. she was our #87 of the Colorado Select Girls Hockey organization. In a way, I guess you could say she was my home girl. I hung out with her and the girls more than anything when we were on the road. Liz would help me with homework, and pretty much anything I asked her to. I would consider her a second sister if you want to say that. I am at a total loss of words for how much I miss her right now. It seems like just yesturday that I was aty the Nationals Tournament with her. My prayers and thoughts go out to your family. I love you guys SO much, and I am deeply sorry about the loss of your daughter, and the member of our Colorado Select girls Hockey family. I love you Liz, R.I.P.

I was very regretful when I heard of this tragic news, as I had tried to search and contact Liz to get back into touch over the years. My favorite memory of Liz was from a moment 2 weeks prior to graduation from Valor. It was a beautiful spring rain and the circle in front of the school filled to the brim with rain water. Liz and Kenzie Averill begged me to skip class for a bit so they could go play in the rain. They ran outside and laughed and jumped in puddles until (15 minutes later) they returned laughing and soaked to the bone. Liz poured water out of both of her shoes! That was Liz to me, someone who could turn a storm into the best time that she could ever have. She was a blessing to ALL that knew her! Thank you for sharing her with all of us at Valor!

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Elizabeth's accident. Although we haven't spoken in years, I have thought of your family often, and you are especially on my mind in recent days. I just wanted to pass on my condolences at your terrible loss, and know that God will take care of you all. You are a strong, wonderful family. I feel so blessed to have been part of Elizabeth's life, if only for a short time.
