Ella is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Mrs. David) Boynton, of Bettendorf; a son-in-law, Max Sommers of Maquoketa; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Barbara Sommers, on May 23, 1993, and a grandson, Gary Sommers. Online Tributes may be left for the family at www.carsonandson.com.
