Ellen Miller

Ellen Miller Indianapolis, passed away December 23, 2006. She was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and retired from Fort Benjamin Harrison Army Finance Center. Most recently, she was employed at Kittles Home Furnishings as a customer service representative. Born in St. Louis, MO, she graduated from Hadley Tech High School and also attended Indiana University-Purdue University. She was a faithful member of Faith United Christian Church where she was a Diaconate and a member of the usher board and served as Chair Person of Faith United's ecumenical Sista Group. She is survived by her son, Kent Miller; sisters, Lois (Calvin) Davis, Indianapolis and Claire Robinson, St. Louis, MO.; grandson, Nicholas Miller. She was preceded in death by sisters, Dolores Walker, Samella Parks; and brothers, Albert and Sandgene Dumas. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at Faith United Christian Church, 4550 N. Illinois St., Indianapolis, Indiana with calling there from 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana University Cancer Center, 535 Barnhill Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
