Ellen Morrell Obituary
She began her professional journey as a talented seamstress, working for the Oneonta Dress Company and later at Sanyo Sewing of America on Pony Farm Road. Guided by a compassionate heart, Ellen transitioned into healthcare after earning her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She served with care and commitment at the Oneonta Nursing Home and as a home visit nurse before concluding her career at Springbrook in Milford, retiring in 2017.
Ellen is lovingly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Bill Lyons; her three sons and their families: Scott and Andrea Morrell and their daughters Laura Ferris and Michelle LaPlante; Sam Morrell and his children Sammy Morrell and Kaitlyn Morrell; Jeff and Amanda Morrell with their children Ashlyn Morrell, Alyse Morrell, Faith Morrell, Felicity Vanblarcom, Max Vanblarcom, Seqouia Boynton, Lia Boynton, and Leland Boynton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jesse Clark; her brother Bob Clark; and her former husband Carlton Morrell.
Affectionately known as "Gigi," Ellen found joy in family barbecues, casino outings, and festive holiday gatherings. She especially cherished leading grace before meals during Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations-a tradition that brought everyone together.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on August 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Worcester Fire Hall, 36 Church Street, Worcester, NY 12197.
Ellen's warmth touched many lives through both her professional care and personal devotion. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.

Sorry for you loss, she´s in Heaven with God now. Remember all the great things of the pass with her to help greave. God needed help and I´m sure she´ll love her new journey
