Caroline Beecraft
April 26, 2017
I was truly saddened to hear of Elma's passing. She was my mother, Dorothy Beecraft's first cousin and will be fondly remembered as a warm and genuine friend as well as family. I had the opportunity to get to know her better during her visit to Chilliwack and Vancouver Island in 2010 and in Lachute in 2011. I will always remember her outgoing and empathic nature and strength and intregrity in coping with life's many challenges. Also her many kind words. Sorry that I can't attend the Memorial Service May 27th but I will be thinking of Elma and her family that day.
Sincerely,
Caroline Beecraft Doyle

Elma was a very special person. Always smiling and friendly, taking time to chat with everyone she knew. Both Elma and Ken often stopped to chat with my mother Dorothy Beecraft, a cousin of hers, to laugh and remember all the good times they spent together near the "Four Corners" outside Lachute where they grew up together. Mom had nothing but good things to say about Elma. I will always remember her as a warm, sweet lady with a wonderful sense of humour. I offer my deepest sympathy to Donna, Janice and Colleen and their families. Elma will certainly be missed.

I had such great admiration for this wonderful lady. She was so independent, resilient and enthusiastic for life. I will miss our visits and thoughtful chats...never enough of these. My deepest sympathy to Donna, Janice, Colleen and all their families. She will be dearly missed by so many.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news and our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
We will miss our little chats with Mrs. Riley while walking around the lake. She had a true sense of community and would always stop and take the time to catch up with Bruno and I, as well as say a "special" hello to our dogs.
We will always remember Mrs. Riley's kindness and class, her beautiful face and smile and the special twinkle in her eyes.
With deepest sympathy, Susie Farago and Bruno Estebeteguy

I am sure that Elma will be missed by all of her family and friends. I remember her smile and good humor. I was glad to hear that she went in a place that both she and Ken enjoyed and did not suffer a long illness.
