Dear Sandra and Family, i am so sorry to hear of Elmer's death. I worked with him at many different times during my years at the Whitney Bank and always found him to be a good, kind and gentle man. In other words he was one of the Good Guys. He had many friends who truly enjoyed being in his company. I will pray for him and your family. God bless all of you. Gerry Aitken

So sorry to hear that Mr Hemphill has pased. He was a great guy. He gave me my first loan when he was at the Harrison Ave Branch about 35 years ago he treated me like he had known me for ever and steered me in the right direction. I will never forget his kind and trusting manner. RIP my friend.

Dear Sandy, Elmer was the finest individual I had the pleasure of working with . I will always remember him as the most kind and caring, dedicated person that ever worked at the Whitney. Never a negative word about anyone. He was always there when someone needed help or advise. May God Bless you and your family and know that you have an angel in heaven watching over you. Bennierita
