Jane,
Every nurse has those special few that come into their life that hold a special place in their heart. Elmer was the one for me, his smile lit up a room and he was loved by so many. He taught me alot and he never complained, a rarity in todays age...take comfort in knowing your father was a very special man that will live on in everyones heart...your a pretty special person yourself:) praying for your family during this difficult time.May God bless you and comfort you!

What a delightful man. At Willow Park, he sat at the dinner table with my parents. I brought him a hamburger from Wendy's occasionally. He loved it. Joyce Coney

Elmer used to live on Fairlawn next to my deceased Mother - Inlaw Jeanette Lemmer. He was a kind and gentle man, and loved eating my chili when I made it for them to share! Peace be with you in your time of sorrow!

I will miss hearing the stories your Dad told of Evansville growing into the city it is now. Elmer saw so many wonderful inventions and changes in his life time. I never saw him without a smile on his face.
