Elmer Weston Jr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 4 to Feb. 9, 2023.
Elmer Weston Jr, also known as Moe, Dad, and Popop, took his last breath on January 31, 2023 at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL surrounded by family and friends. He was a longtime resident of Archer, FL. He also lived previously in Homasassa, FL, Grand Cayman Islands, and several cities in Connecticut. Elmer was born December 24, 1955 in Stamford, Connecticut to Elmer and Alberta Weston (Hayes).

His greatest accomplishment in life was his family and friends. His favorite times were sharing laughs and memories surrounded by the ones he loved. His love for drag racing, Gator football, and his grandchildren ran deep and he shared that love with anyone that would listen. He spent a long career in sheet metal where he met many friends who became family. He will always be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and loyal friendship.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Alberta Weston, his sisters, and several friends and family. He is survived by his dedicated, loving wife, and soul mate Patricia Weston, his son and daughter-in-law Elmer and Kristy (Mackenzie) Weston, his daughter and son-in-law Travis and Cheryl (Weston) Perry, his grandchildren Daxton Weston, Madelyn Perry and Hunter Perry as well as several nieces, and nephews. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Dearest Patty, EJ, Cheryl and families....
We don´t know where or how to begin to tell you all how awful we feel. Elmer and Mike had many years working together but I feel it was more like a family than a work relationship..We are devastated that Elmer lost his battle and Patty you lost your love... EJ, Cheryl, and the grandchildren lost so much too...Rest in Peace Elmer.....We love you all..
