Elsie Moroz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 7 to Jun. 8, 2011.
MOROZ, Elsie (Mantei) January 24, 1930 - June 5, 2011 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mom Elsie, she will be lovingly remembered by her family; Donna (Ron) Witwiski, Don (Barbara) Moroz, Ed Moroz and Shirley Moroz. Grandchildren Jennifer (Ray) OGorman, Heather (Eric Patterson) Witwiski, Melanie Witwiski, Landon and Madison Moroz, Micheal Ulvestad, Sydney, Georgia and Zack Moroz. Great-grandchildren Elliot, Gracyn and Harlow OGorman, Cayden and Kate Witwiski-Patterson, Nixon Witwiski. Brother Alfred in Vernon and sister Alma in Winnipeg. Extended family includes in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Elsie will also be remembered by a special family friend Mary (Fred Brown) LaValley, Micheal and Christopher LaValley. She was predeceased by her husband Steve and brothers Edward, Paul, Arnold and Albert. The family wishes at this time to thank all the staff and Doctors at the Glenrose 3D and General Hospital 9Y for all their support and caring of our mother while in their care. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be. So He closed his arms around you and whispered Come to Me You didnt deserve what you went through, so He gave you rest. Gods garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. And when we saw you sleeping so peaceful and free from pain, we could not wish you back to suffer that again. In keeping with Elsies wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date. If so desired donations may be made in her honour to the Canadian Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.memoriesfuneral.com

Dear Ed, Don, Shirley & Donna,

No matter how old we are, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know, because she was the first person to hold you after you were born and the first person to truly love you. But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on like a legacy of love that will always be with you, and the memory of your mother becomes a treasure to hold. It is that love and those memories you need to hold on to because while she is no longer with you – you will always have her in your heart, and in your memories. I hope that those memories bring you comfort at this difficult time.

I just wanted to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families through this heartbreaking time. Nothing I can say will ease your pain but I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of all of you.

Dear Donna, Don, Ed and families
Blessed is the memory of your beloved Mother. It floats to you now like the beautiful perfume of some woodland blossoms. The music of your voices may be lost, but the entrancing melody of hers will echo in your soul forever. Other faces will fade away and be forgotten, but hers will shine on until the light from heaven's portal will glorify your own.
