Mom, missing you...but know you are enjoying it with God in heaven, with your mom...and I know we will be reunited again, love you mama...

I'm so shocked to see that Elsie passed away. I don't know if you remeber me (Miriam from Germany), but I stayed with Elsie at Farmer John's Petting Zoo for about 6 month and we had a great time together. I tried to get in contact to her all the years but now I know why she coudn't answer that often. I'm so sad to hear that she had to suffer in her last days. She was like a mother to me while I stayed in Canada and I learned a lot from her. She was such a great person and even if she had gone through a lot she was allways strong. I espacially remember all the great meals she cooked for me.
My thoughts are with all of you.

Gail sorry to here of Elsie's passing. I haven't seen her in years, but we used to share a lot of laughter, during the intercon days and after. I am glad she found the Lord and the peace that goes with it.

So sorry to hear of Elsie's passing. I worked for her at Intercon and became good friends. My husband and I spent time with her at her cabin. She was a wonderful person to be around. Rest in peace Elsie.

Gail and family, Jack and Bernice, Butch and Marge, words cannot express how sad our family is to hear of Elsie's passing. I have known Elsie since we attended Princess Alexandra School together and then many years of close friendship in the cottage days at Cochin. Elsie was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was a personality that would light up a room and she always made you feel welcome when you stopped to visit. May you all take solace in knowing how much Elsie was loved, by so many. Her passing will leave a void in many lives but our family is very grateful for having had the opportunity to spend many great times together with Elsie and her family over the years. My sincerest condolences to Melinda, McKayla,Noah,Jack,Bernice,Adam & Cortney in the passing of your dear Mother,Grandmother & sister. Although I had met Elsie years ago it was only in the last few months that I really got to know her when Melinda brought her back from BC. My heart rejoiced to learn she had accepted Jesus and because of that and the great love that surrounded her by all of you when she returned to Saskatoon she was able to leave this earth in the most beautiful and peaceful way. Your struggles are over now Elsie and may you rest in the loving arms of Jesus until we see you again.
