ELSIE TELFER
In the beautiful part of the day the Lord had made, Elsie went to be with her Lord in heaven. Elsie had a short battle with cancer and at the age of 68 was relieved of all suffering. Elsie was predeceased by her mom Ann Dziadyk (1983), her dad, David Dziadyk (1997), her sister Stephanie Henry (1980), and her son Bobby Telfer (1986), who she missed terribly. Elsie was a gifted cook and enjoyed entertaining others with her meals. She made friends easily and was not shy in a gathering. Elsie was a hard worker and had taken an early retirement after 33 years of service from Intercontinental Packers, where she was the first lady foreman. It didn't stop there for her to retire, she went on to work at Federated Coop in Saskatoon and ending her work load in Penticton, BC at the Superstore. Her last prayer was to come back to Saskatoon and live her last days with her family. She is survived by her daughter Melinda- Gail Rebalkin, her 2 precious grandchildren Mckayla Rebalkin and Noah Rebalkin; her oldest brother Bob Dziadyk (Francis), their daughter Monica (Dan) Bilodeau and their children Kathleen and Steven; her brother Jack (and near to her heart Bernice), their children, Godson Adam (Cortney) Dziadyk and Mike Dziadyk and sister Marge (Larry) Weigel. Elsie had many struggles in her life but in her last years she recognized that the only place peace came from was from the Lord Jesus Christ. She gave all the thanks to God from where she came from and where she was going. The family want to give huge thanks to all the staff for all the hard work they did at the Hospice House in Penticton, the caring staff at Penticton Hospital in BC., the knowledgeable staff and doctors at Kelowna Cancer Agency, the homecare workers and nurses, social workers in Saskatoon, and the loving staff at St. Paul's Med. Floor and Flex 2 Unit. Thank you for the care you all do. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Neighborhood Church, 233 Pinehouse Dr., Saskatoon, Sk. at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 with Rev. John Drisner officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (306-934-4888).
