Elvin Thomas Obituary
Daytona Beach - Elvin Thomas, Sr., 84, of Daytona Beach, FL went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Elvin was born in Monticello, FL and moved to Daytona Beach, FL in 1955, where he remained until death. He married Hattie Caldwell in 1957 going on to have four children. He later married Clara Bradshaw in 1992, who preceded him in death in 1998.
Elvin was predeceased by his parents Ardley and Lucendia Thomas, and siblings, Luther, Lillian, Ola, Willie, Roosevelt (Irene), and Cleveland (Endia). He is survived by; brother, John Thomas (Annie); children Elvin Thomas, Jr., Judy Thomas, Walter Thomas, Derek Thomas; beloved daughter Gloria White Postell; step-daughter Sharon Kelly; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 and Funeral Services are being held at 12 p.m. on December 5, 2020 at Baldwin Brothers 1185 W. Granada Blvd, Unit 11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
