Emiko Kuruma

Emiko Kuruma, 93, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2016. She was born in Sacramento, but spent most of her adult life in San Francisco. She was an active member of the Buddhist Church of San Francisco and Fujinkai. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Tokuichi Toby Kuruma, and her son, Alan.
She is survived by her daughters Sandy Kuruma and Karen (Craig) Nagareda; grandsons Steven, Ross, and Scott Nagareda; brother Junji Ichiho. She also leaves behind sister-in-law Rachel Kuruma, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A family memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 11:30AM at the SF Buddhist Church, 1881 Pine Street.
