EMIL A. PATER HEGEWISCH, IL Emil A. Pater age 72, of Hegewisch, formerly of Calumet City, IL passed away peacefully on November 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Emil immigrated from Poland to America in 1971, he retired as an Electrical Mechanic after 30 years of service in the Steel Industry. Beloved son, of late Andrzej and Ludwika Pater, loving husband, of Sofia Pater (nee Stadnik), cherished father, of Anna Pater and Denise Pater, precious brother, of Leopold, late Wiktoria, late Bronistaw, late Adolph and late Zygmune, dearest uncle, of Wanda (Tony) Krotiak and Andrzej (Kinga) Pater and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch, 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL. 60633 (773-646-1666) and on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. Prayers from Chapel at 9:15 a.m. for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church of Calumet City with Rev. Jacek Dada officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Emil will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
