Emiliano Gavazza

GAVAZZA - EMILIANO, of Sagamore, died on Tuesday at age 76. Husband of the late Kathleen E.(Tavares) Gavazza. Survived by son and daughter in law Steven and Esther Gavazza of the Foreign Service in Tiblisi, Georgia and daughters and sons in law kathleen and Donald Stubstad Jr. of Sagamore and Teresa and George Towers Jr. of Pocasset. He was the brother of Madeline Mula of Sagamore and Carol Winterbottom of Buzzard's Bay and the late Antonio Gavazza. Also surviving are four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt. 6A in Sandwich. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Theresa's Church on Rt. 6A in Sagamore, followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery in Sandwich.
