Emilie Sattler Obituary
She married Ron Sattler in 1980 and they lived in Lakehead until his death in 2004. In 2005, Emilie moved to Redding and enjoyed being closer to her sister and children. Emilie worked for Bridge Bay Resort for many years, first at the front desk and then in the business office. Emilie truly loved working at the resort and considered her co-workers her extended family.
Emilie looked for and saw the good in others and always wore a smile.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Nutting; sons: Michael Bryant and his wife Jenny, David Bryant and Stephen Bryant; daughter, Lisa Carter and her husband Douglas; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, with another on the way.
Private family services will be conducted. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.

I've known Emilie for only a short couple of years, however she always impressed me with her sweet (and slightly sassy) personality. I will miss Emilie at the Board Meetings of Paris Park HOA. Her loss is felt by all who work in our office. Our condolences to the family.

I worked with Emilie at Bridge Bay back in the late 80s. I have since moved out of the area and hadn't seen her since, but her name immediately jumped off the page at me today. I enjoyed working with her immensely and remember her spunk, her smile, and that great Karmann Ghia she drove, which suited her personality so well. Condolences to all those who loved this special lady. So sorry for your loss; I know she will be sorely missed.
