Emilio R. “Jack Miller” Scolapio, 77, of Pride Avenue, Clarksburg, died Monday, December 13, 2004 in the United Hospital Center following an extended illness. Mr. Scolapio was a retired security guard with Hills Department Store, was a former Harrison County Deputy Sheriff and former owner/operator of Cozy Corner Restaurant. He was born in Clarksburg, November 4, 1927, a son of the late Salvatore and Maria Iquinto Scolapio. He is survived by his wife, Sarah B. Gallo Scolapio; five daughters, Rosamaria Scolapio and her fiancé, Mark Schumacher, Elizabeth Sue Scudere and husband, James, Enterprise, Constance Buffey and husband, Patch, Clarksburg, Sarah Jo Belcastro and husband Joe, Richmond, Virginia, and Mary Rose Jambronie and her two children; 11 grandchildren, Ricka Laughlin, Thomasina Scudere, James Scudere, Sara Rose Scudere, Michael Buffey, Toni Rose Buffey, Robert “Bobby” Buffey, Samantha Buffey, Emilio Salvatore Buffey, Jack Joseph Belcastro, and Josie Marie Belcastro; one great granddaughter, Emilia Jane Underwood; one brother, Sam Scolapio and his wife, Julianna, Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one infant brother. Mr. Scolapio was a 1945 graduate of Victory High School, a United States Army veteran having served during WWII, and enjoyed collecting, buying and selling antique furniture. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. There will be no public visitation. A memorial mass will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Aunt Sarah, You and Uncle Miller have always taken the best care of me as well as my brother. Thank you for the meals, home and love you extended me. My Uncle Miller made the best Coon meat in the world. I love you both and Uncle Miller will be greatly missed.

TO the family, My deepest condolences. Mr MIller helped me in security at Hill's without his help I would never had been able to do it. HE will be sadly missed by a lot of people. He was a legend there and I know we all respected him. God Bless You And Your Family Bernadine Beeson
