Emma J. Barton, of St. Peters, MO, formerly of Edgar Springs, passed away Tuesday,

December 6, 2016 at the age of 88.

She was born in Edgar Springs on October 13, 1928 to the late Benjamin Franklin

"Frank" Widener and Margaret "Maggie" (Buffer) Widener.

On October 23, 1948 she married Zean Barton who preceded her in death.

Emma was a member of the Hermitage Hills Baptist Church in Fenton, MO.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Clint

Barton, a sister, Juanita Jones, and two brothers, Bill & Bob Widener.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes three children, Cheryl

Leimbach and husband Walt, of St. Charles, MO, Colleen Paige, of Centralia, MO, and

Craig Barton and wife Rita, of Panama, NE; one sister, Marjorie O'Bryan and husband

Dale, of O'Fallon, MO; a brother, Charles "Bud" Widener, of Fenton, MO; six

grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other extended family

members and dear friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Null

& Son Funeral Home in Rolla beginning at 10 am followed by a graveside service at

noon in the Renaud, Cemetery in Edgar Springs.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Kidney Foundation.
