Emma Joan Moy

Emma J. (Mitchell) Moy, 60, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Union Hospital. She was born on May 19, 1951, in Terre Haute to Loren and Mary (Akers) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Wiley High School. Emma enjoyed movies and music, especially Elvis. She was a devout and passionate Christian. She also enjoyed politics. She was a gentle, sweet, and loving person who loved everyone and would do anything for anyone. She attended church at The Journey of the Wabash Valley.
Emma is survived by her parents, her husband, Larry Moy; her children, Melissa Woodard and her husband Bradley of Danville, IN, Kim Faulkner and her husband Donald of Terre Haute, and Jessica Griffin and her husband T.J. of Newport; grandchildren, Trenton and Alex Woodard, Trey, Ethan, and Jake Griffin, and Jamie and James Faulkner; sisters, Debbie Trout and her husband Bill, and Denise Mitchell; brothers, Harold Mitchell, Richard Mitchell, and Mark Mitchell and his wife Lou; niece, Jamie Lee Burris and her husband Charlie, and nephews, Austin, Landon, and Mason Mitchell.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 29 from 9:30- 10 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, March 29 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Patrick Newton officiating.
