I found Emory about 35 years ago when I was in real need for someone who understood my business and could make sure I had the right kind of insurance coverage. Our relationship evolved in to so much more. We had many conversations about a variety of things and became such good friends. We shared lots of laughter over the years and I´m truly grateful that he came into my life.

Emory was a good and trusted friend since meeting him in 1951 at Fremont JR High school, in Pomona. We shared many interests including Band, Tennis, Cars, Girls, Boats and fishing. My parents often included Emory in our family camping vacations as I am an only child and it was fun to have a buddy along.
Emory and I started a small business together selling firewood from the many Lemon and Orange groves that were bulldosed for tract homes in the late 1950s. Many trees were just burned but we got permission from some owners to cut up their trees into firewood. Emorys brothers and sister sold bundles of fire wood door to door in their neighborhood for a small commission. Our introduction into the world of business had begun.
Emory and I joined the Navy reserves together. We met our future wives together when a friend of Emory's introduced us to Starlyn and Mary. [my ex wife now but still a friend.]
Emory has been a part of my life for over 70 years and I will miss him very much.
Starlyn, my prayers and best wishes go out to you and your family.
You have all ways been a special Lady to me.

Uncle Emory was always someone I looked up to. He is a man of God and a source of wisdom and strength for our family. We often called on him for advice. He had a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. I love you, Uncle Emory and Aunt Starlyn.

I bowled with Emory for several years and considered him a great friend. He was always upbeat, cheerful, and just fun to spend time with. My condolences to his family.

Uncle Emory was a great man and I will miss his insight and support deeply. He was a fantastic example of what a Godly man, husband, father (and uncle) should be.
