Ena Powell Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 20, 2013.
Ena Lisa Powell age 62 a twenty seven year resident of Wellington, Florida and a former resident of West Palm Beach was greeted by the Angels in Heaven on February 20, 2013. She was born in Managua, Nicaragua on November 19, 1950 to the late Mr. Agustin Campos and Mrs. Dolores Davila. Ena was a devout Catholic and worshipped with her family at St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, Florida. She was a licensed hairdresser and created beautiful coiffures for her family and friends. Ena loved her grandson, Michael immensely and helped in raising him to be a fine young man by sharing all of her virtues. She was a kind, loving and gentle person; forever selfless and always giving to others with an undaunting love for her fellowman. Ena lived up to the spiritual truths of a virtuous woman as cited in the scriptural passages of Proverbs 31:28-31. She was the perfect caregiver and exemplified this through her love for her mother, providing elder care and support for many years to her mother, before her illness would no longer allow her to manage this task. Ena and her husband, Ernest traveled the highways and byways together, sharing in the adventures of the open road and spending that quality time together discovering the back country and all the pleasurable time "God" had granted them. She also loved taking care of her Jack Russell and Chihuahua puppies nurturing and caring for them as though they were her own children. Ena leaves behind to cherish her memories forever a loving and devoted husband, Ernest Powell, Sr. of Wellington, Florida; her two loved children, Michelle Powell and her husband, Michael Klee of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Ernest R. Powell, Jr. and his wife, Kalan of Naples, Florida; an adored grandson, Michael Klee of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; her dear mother, Dolores Davila; her two admired sisters, Ileana Zalis and her husband Bob of Ocala, Florida and Ligia Hess and her husband, Doug of Royal Palm Beach, Florida;her sister Gloria Espinoza and her loved nieces and nephews, Jeremi, Vanessa, Victor, Linda, Jackie, Gary and Alder. "When you look into the Night Sky, you will see a new Star shining bright." Private Family Services will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405, (561) 582-4131. Donations may be made in Loving Memory of Ena Lisa Powell to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407, (561) 848-5200 or online at: www.hpbc.com. Gloria and I met Ena on Jan 11th of this year for the fist time. She explained that she was sorry that she was ill and wouldn't be able to be much company while we where there for two days. SHE APPOLOGIZED TO US FOR HER BEING ILL! That's the kind of woman she was. We will remember that for the rest of our lives..... What a wonderful soul she is. What a wonderful family they are. We just loved them all. From the very bottom of our hearts, we stand beside you. Thank You for having us in your home. Norman and Gloria.

I am so sorry for your loss. When I found out being in Managua My heart stopped and thoughts froze. And then I had all the wonderful images of you smiling and with that unique laughter of yours. Also of the wise words that you gave me when i needed them. Have always looked at you as a mother figure and am missing that i could not see you before you left us. But i know you will be looking over all of us with that great heart of yours. Your in peace and mind now... from the Morales and Blandino family in Nicaragua
