Enid Chapman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 18, 2024.
Laura Enid Chapman (née Ingham), born on January 17, 1934, in the serene city of Montreal, Canada, has gracefully completed life's journey. On February 16, 2024, at the age of 90, she passed away in the peaceful town of Yreka, California.

A paragon of virtue, Laura exuded warmth and affection to all who had the pleasure of her company. Her life was distinguished by an unwavering commitment to kindness and generosity, as well as a dedication to the community that was reflected in her tireless work for the Klamath River Community Hall.

Laura's creative spirit shone brightly through her artistic pursuits, and her handcrafted potholders and crafts were not just items of utility but symbols of her love and meticulous nature. She was the epitome of thoughtfulness and patience, traits that endeared her to friends and family alike.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her nieces, Barbara Byrne, Lorna Deome and her husband Fred; nephews, Ronald Brothers and his wife Teri, Gary Brothers and his wife Evelyn, and Kim Brothers and his wife Laura; as well as numerous cousins in the Ingham family, great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss her dearly.

Laura now joins those who have gone before her: her husband, Clifford Chapman; her parents, Reginald and Edna Ingham; her sister, Norma Brothers; and her brother-in-law, Kenneth Brothers.

Her life was a testament to the beauty of simple pleasures and the enduring power of a kind heart. Laura Enid Chapman will be remembered fondly and missed profoundly by all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, and her memory will remain a comforting presence in our lives.
