Enrique Castellano

Enrique Castellano, age 92, a resident of Harrison Township, Michigan passed away Monday, July 20th, 2020. He was born on August 6th, 1927 in Michoacán, Mexico to the late Diego and Maria (Rosales) Castellano. On May 18, 1993 he was married to former Betty Jane Van Assche. Together they have spent 27 years of marriage.

 

Enrique worked as a Hi-Lo driver at Ford Motor Company for 35 years, retiring in the early 2000s. He was an avid gardener for many years and enjoyed the Detroit Tigers baseball and spending time with his family as a devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his wife Betty Castellano, children Rosita (Ruben) Gutierrez, Enrique ll (Shantel) Castellano, Aurelia (Kelly) Moore, Consuelo (David) Wawrin, Angelita Snowton, Benjamin Castellano, Ralph (Laura) Van Assche, Virginia (Joseph Jr.) Teholis, Edward (Debra) Bernal, one brother Emeterio Navarro, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by daughter Aurora Castellano, son Lorenzo Castellano, and two grandchildren Benjamin Castellano ll and Amelia Snowton.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mount Clemens. When in attendance, we kindly ask that everyone wear a face covering and practice social distancing for the safety and well-being of the family and our staff. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. (instate visitation 10:30) at St. Peter Catholic Church, Mt.
