Epamin "Pammy" Gust Vastardis, 85, of North Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Reading, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident in North Fort Myers, FL. He was the loving husband of Victoria Amelia (Spirelis) Vastardis, whom he married July 13, 1947 in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading.

Born in Reading on September 22, 1926, he was the son of the late Gust and Margaro (Condos) Vastardis.

He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy and later, the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Pammy was employed with Electrolux USA for 41 years in sales before retiring in 1991. He later started his own business, Nero, which sold water purifiers.

He was a faithful member of the American Legion Post 0400.

After his service in the Air Force, Pammy continued to enjoy flying. He traveled all over the world during his time at Electrolux. Even after retirement, he continued to work and kept himself busy by fixing things around the house and working on his lawn. Pammy was a warm person and was always smiling.

In addition to his wife, Victoria; he is survived by two sons: Gust and William; four grandchildren: Amanda, Christopher, Pamela, and Jason; two great grandchildren: Gabriel and Adrian and a sister: Artemis.

Services will be held at 9:00am on Saturday at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Spyridon Papademetriou officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading on Friday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm during which a Trisagion prayer will be preformed. Interment will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 East Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA 19611.
